POEIMA in an Ekphrasis style
an Ekphrasis is a description of art or a work of art in various poetic styles
which can take either of three forms:-
A poem that describes a specfic work of art
A poem that encapsulates an artist's general style
A poem that depicts a particular school of artists or genre

My
eye was
attracted
to the Blue Nude
by the intensity of colour-
the
image
triggering
stark sensations
drawn by the simple abstract shape.
and..
In haiku form Da Vinci's MONA LISA
where ever he looks
Mona Lisa's gaze follows-
his every step
SPECIFIC ARTISTS
In a lanterne poetic form in regard to MARK ROTHKO
the abstract expressionist
UNFRAMED
The
colour
fills our eyes
and enters our
mood.
and as a lanterne sequence in respec of JULIUS EXTER
BLUE RIDER
From
summer
to Autumn-
mood indigo
blue
a
crown prince
of colours
in avant garde
hue.
SPECIFIC GENRES
Two lanternes
DADA
The
random
selection--
a hobby-horse
art.
GOUACHE CUT-OUTS
stark
colour-
osmosis
in arabesque
mode.
